Women in Business Conference

Women in Business Conference

Hosted by the Center for Principled Business, this initiative serves current college students, alumni, working professionals, as well as regional high school students. The Women in Business Initiative fosters a network of innovation and collaboration through academic and co-curricular learning opportunities, and supports business research related to the broader goals of the initiative. The Women in Business Initiative works to educate, empower, and engage leaders, to create social and economic impact and enhance societal prosperity.

Butterfly Watching

Biology students participated in a citizen science project called Monarch Watch. The program was created at the University of Kansas and is designed to track the migration patterns of Monarch butterflies. Students went to Cheyenne Bottoms where they helped catch and tag butterflies as they are migrating through Kansas.

Studying

The concourse is a great place for students to utilize when needing to study or complete a group project.
