The Salina Soul attended the Kansas City Jazz Summit and participated in the Basically Basie Jazz Heritage Competition last week. They were selected as the 2026 5A Runner-up for 2026.
The following ensembles were selected as the 2026 Basically Basie Jazz Heritage Competition winners and runners-up in their respective divisions:
