Salina Central High School Theatre Troupe 639’s production of Clue (High School Edition) Selected as a Mainstage Production at the International Thespian Festival

Salina Public Schools—The Central High School Theatre program Thespian Troupe 639 was selected by the adjudication committee of the International Thespian Festival to present their fall play Clue (High School Edition) to the 2026 International Thespian Festival in June at the University of Indiana Bloomington. This honor comes from having their show adjudicated among other productions from around the country and earning one of twelve production spots. Clue (High School Edition) is presented with special arrangements through Dramatists Play Service and Concord Theatricals.

There will be an encore performance date to be announced at a later time. Students are actively fundraising for this trip and this honor. Students also received honors for their individual events known as Thespys and 27 students have now qualified with 21 individual events and the production to attend the Festival.

 

Clue (High School Edition)

 

It’s a dark and stormy night, and you’ve been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well, dead. So whodunit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up. Based on the cult classic film and the popular board game, CLUE is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.
