What's a Good ACT Score and what are the ACT Ranges and Percentiles?
ACT/SAT Test Prep - METHODIZEStudents can take advantage of ACT/SAT Test Prep in XELLO. Methodize is Method Learning’s brand new online learning platform. Methodize consists of newly updated and revised ACT and SAT courses. Our online program has served over a million students in the past two decades and Methodize distills that experience into a new platform that makes it easier for students and teachers to do test prep. Students can access Methodize under "Links and Resources" in their XELLO account.
The ACT is available to be taken at South High School for any student on the following National Testing dates:
- Saturday, December 14, 2024
- Saturday, February 8, 2025
- Saturday, June 14, 2025
ACT Testing on these dates, at South HS, begins at 8:00 a.m. Students are encouraged to report no later than 7:45 a.m. on the day of the test.
For the 2024-25 school year, the ACT is offered free for juniors at Central during the school day on February 25, 2025. The sign up window was November 1 – 22, 2024. If you have questions, please reach out to our Testing Coordinator or a counselor.
Seniors who did not take the free ACT in the spring of 2024 are eligible to take the ACT for free on the February 25, 2025 testing date.

Pre-ACTThe Pre-ACT is taken by all freshmen during a school day in October. ACT WorkKeysACT WorkKeys is offered free to juniors at Central and takes place during the school day. This school year’s test was offered in early October 2024. Students who will be juniors in the fall of 2025, and would like to take the test, watch for registration to open in early fall 2025.
